The Impact of Our Work

Every week our volunteers visit kids in hospitals and medical facilities around Las Vegas. The volunteers and superheroes come armed with wagons filled with comic books, toys, plushies, games, and other gifts to share with the children they visit.

Supporting the greater community includes helping childhood cancer survivors reach their dreams with Critical Care Comic’s Nationwide Scholarship, and partnering with other amazing organizations with missions to help change lives.

Who is Critical Care Comics?

Since 2012 we’ve been working to make kids smile. . .if only for 28 pages.

Founded by a childhood cancer survivor, Critical Care Comics organizes hospital visits by volunteers dressed as superheroes who have a mission: Provide kids an escape by bringing comics to read and creating a happy moment for their day.
